Ian shares about growing up in a creative household, the art of collaboration and collecting resources, and the joys of teaching children theater. Next, Duane Kirby Jensen , a Mayor’s Arts Award winner from Everett Washington joins us via phone. Duane is an established painter, published poet, and acclaim host of Everett Poetry Night. He talks about how he starts a painting, his influences and the role of an artist in society.
