This week on Bellingham Art Beat Nate Witham joins us at the mic. Nate shares about the history and vision of the Alternative Library, now located in the refurbished “Karate Church”. Nate also talks about his artistic background, and how his poetry grew during a personal project to write one poem every day on a manual typewriter. Next up, the producer of Bellingham Art Beat, Shannon Laws joins us at the Brandywine for a conversation about her new chapbook “Fallen” launching June 2017. Shannon talks about her writing process, her favorite word and how she discovered radio.
